“I think we’re in a great position to say that it’s not only an epic novel, but it’s a really good novel,” he said.
“There’s a lot of good characters, and a lot about the world, and it’s fun to explore and that’s really what makes it a classic.”
I asked for his thoughts on the showrunners’ ability to keep the show relevant in a world that is increasingly saturated with digital content.
“I think they’ve got a great vision, and they’re very passionate about it, and I think they’re doing the right thing,” he responded.
“It’s not going to stop growing, and the way it’s growing is that it has become a lot more sophisticated, more advanced in terms of technology and all the other things that come along with that, and so that’s a very exciting thing.”
For now, there is still a lot that we don’t know about the show, and fans can look forward to more spoilers from the upcoming season as well as some of the most important revelations to come from the show’s story.
But as the HBO series continues to take shape, it’s interesting to see the breadth of the story and the characters that are currently being explored in the show.
