In 2017, Netflix became the first major streaming service to gain a global Alexa ranking after surpassing HBO’s Game of Thrones.
Now, the streaming giant is on track to be the #2 movie-streaming service in 2018.
The move comes as Netflix continues to attract more users in the United States and abroad with a recent move to bring its streaming service closer to a wider audience.
In a recent earnings call, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos said the company is trying to expand the audience it has in the U.S. and overseas.
“We are getting more and more people coming to Netflix because we know that we have more users than any other streaming service, and that’s why we’re doing so well,” Sarandysaid.
“We know we have a large user base and we know there are lots of new users.
We’re making sure we’re building the right product that can help people stay in their homes, and we’re getting a lot of good feedback from people on how they’re using Netflix.”
That is something we’re very excited about.
We know that our service is a great fit for people who are new to streaming and also for people that have already watched some TV, who are interested in a more robust, personalized experience.
“The Netflix team believes it is a natural fit for both the U, where Netflix has been gaining traction, and for those in the developing world, where it is not.
The company has been making strides in the region by supporting local TV channels, including its original series and documentaries.
In addition to the popular series like House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, Netflix also has original shows like Arrested Development and Transparent.
In 2018, Netflix plans to bring more original content to the U., with new episodes of its original films such as Orange is The New Black and Stranger Things.
Netflix will also be adding original shows to its original movie library.
