How do Golden State Warriors have so many stars?
Golden State, which is scheduled to play its fourth game of the NBA Finals on Sunday, has more than 2,000 players who could go down as NBA champions, and that includes five players who started their careers in the league.
One of them is James Harden.
Harden, the Rockets star, has been the subject of trade rumors since the start of the season and had some advice for the Warriors.
Harden was asked about how he would like to retire and what he thinks about the speculation that he might go away to sign with a contender.
“I think it’s silly,” Harden said.
“I just want to win a championship.
That’s all I can think about.
I just want one.
If I could go somewhere else and win a ring, I would love to.”
Harden said he would prefer to be a starter for his hometown Rockets.
He would like more minutes than he gets this year and would be willing to accept less money.
He is also a big fan of the Warriors’ new coach, Steve Kerr, and is looking forward to watching his team play again.
“The Warriors have such a great team and such a deep roster, I don’t think I’m going to miss them,” Harden told Fox Sports’ NBA Countdown.
“They are the only team that I would play for in the world.
I want to see them win.”
