Kerala Chief Minister and Chief Justice Jyotiraditya Scindia will attend Jyoti festival
Kerala Chief Ministers Jyotsna and K.P. Saraf have been invited to Jyoteetha festival for the first time.
The Kerala Chief Secretary, K.S. Sarafi, will lead the celebrations on Thursday in Kochi, the state capital, with Kerala Chief Justice, Jyothi Saraf, and Kerala State President, Jayanagar Rajendran, among others.
The two ministers will inaugurate a new building at Kochi’s Ramakrishna University and visit a memorial dedicated to the victims of the 1984 Kerala riots.
Both the Kerala Chief Secretaries are the former presidents of the National Assembly and have been serving as the chief ministers of the state since the state was created.
The Assembly will celebrate the centenary of the Kansai riots in April.
Saraf, a former Kerala chief minister, is also a former member of the Supreme Court.
